Use a packaged release unless you are developing Hyprism

Download a release

Open Hyprism Releases on GitHub and choose the package for your system

The packages include the Hyprism Launcher executable and the separate Local Node executable used by autonomous local profiles

Command-line installation

The one-line installers support Linux x64, Windows x64, and macOS Apple Silicon. They verify the downloaded package with SHA-256 before installation

Linux x64

The installer stores versioned files under ~/.local/share/hyprism, creates ~/.local/bin/hyprism, and adds a desktop entry. Add ~/.local/bin to PATH if it is not already present

Windows x64

The installer stores Hyprism Launcher under %LOCALAPPDATA%\Hyprism, creates Desktop and Start Menu shortcuts, and adds the install directory to the user PATH

macOS Apple Silicon

curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/hyprismteam/Hyprism/main/Scripts/install-macos.sh | sh

The installer verifies the DMG, mounts it, and places Hyprism Launcher in ~/Applications without requiring sudo. Current releases use ad hoc signing, so macOS may require approval in Privacy & Security on first launch

Linux with Nix

Nix users can run the flake directly with flakes enabled

nix run 'github:hyprismteam/Hyprism?dir=Packaging/linux/flake#hyprism'

The flake currently targets x86_64-linux. Use the DMG workflow below on macOS

Platform notes

Windows

Use the EXE or MSI for a normal installation. Extract the portable ZIP to a writable directory before starting Hyprism Launcher.exe

Linux

Prefer DEB or RPM when your distribution supports it. Make an AppImage executable before running it. Replace 4.0.0 in these examples with the downloaded version

The Flatpak bundle can be installed with the desktop software manager or Flatpak CLI

flatpak install ./Hyprism-linux-x64-4.0.0.flatpak

macOS

Use the macOS installer above or open the DMG and move Hyprism Launcher to Applications. The current release target requires Apple Silicon

Autonomous mode may ask once for permission to trust Hyprism's local certificate authority. Canceling the prompt cancels that game launch without weakening TLS validation. See Local Node for the reason

Run from source

Contributors need the .NET 10 SDK and Git
